They also have fresh meat and bread counters as well as those items you might have trouble finding if you have special dietary needs (gluten-free, soya products etc).
Besides everything being close, burgau is in the middle of the western Algarve which makes it ideal to get around the region with no match effort, by being in the middle even by bus getting to the nearby towns and sightseeing takes less time on the way to come and go. It is located 12 km from Lagos (a beautiful town packed with restaurants, shops, and lots of gorgeous beaches and grottos), 5 km to Praia Da Luz & Salema - lovely beachside towns, both make a wonderful cliff walk from Burgau, 22 km to Sagres, for its famous lighthouse, beaches and the 'end of the world', 20 km to the wild, West coast... rugged scenery, long beach walks, great surfing & fabulous beach restaurants await here.
