Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Modern, well-kept cabin in a peaceful area. View was nice (although not as nice as in the pics due to a newly built house blocking some of the view). Close to Bran castle yet away from the most touristy areas.

Negative: We felt a bit monitored by the host. It's understandable that the host is keen to keep the house in good condition but it got a bit over the top. For example, he kept track of the temperature inside the cabin and messaged us to stop using the fireplace. We found this a bit strange as the fireplace was a big reason as to why we chose the cabin in the first place, so of course we will want to use it. Also such a small cabin will heat up fast so temperature will obviously rise. We also received a lot of other messages with various house rules throughout our stay, some a bit superfluous (we know not to wear shoes indoors for example). The cleaning could also have been better (coffee stains in the kitchen and a sock from the previous guest). No firewood was readily available although we were told there would be some prepared for us. Also a lighter was missing. A bit cheap to only include one roll of toilet paper and also to charge extra for the hot tub. Overall we found it overpriced for what you get.
