Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Well appointed, clean, modern and quiet apartment overlooking a golf course. The apartment had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and a clothes washer. No dryer , but a large drying rack. It had a new looking microwave and a traditional oven as well as an induction cooktop. Large frig. Three bedrooms - two with double beds and one with a single bed. Two full baths. One double bed was slightly longer than the other, so our taller friend got the longer bed. Heating from many radiator type heaters (not needed in October). A/C and heat in the large living room from a wall mounted heat pump. Fast internet and cable TV included. Location was excellent, with a short drive into town. A spur of the Camino passes through a nearby roadway so there's a marked trail, downhill into town. The host went out of his way to be helpful. I had an eye problem and he spent a lot of time arranging an urgent ophthalmology appointment at a private clinic in Braga. I would definitely come back.

Negative: Indirect A/C in bedrooms (from living room) but not needed while we were there. Plenty of fans provided.
