Principe Real is considered the trendiest neighborhood in Lisbon. Principe Real means "Royal Prince", in honor of Queen Maria II's first born. It extends north of the touristic Bairro Alto neighborhood, and miraculously remains an essentially residential district, filled with gardens, a couple of the city's most tranquil squares, and colorful mansions.
It is best known for its antique shops, gardens, viewpoints and a growing gay population, yet it's emerging as an interesting shopping destination due to the growing number of designer shops and a foodie heaven, thanks to an incredible amount of amazing restaurants. It remains primarily a residential neighborhood known for two of the most tranquil squares in the city, Principe Real Park and Praca das Flores (around the corner), and its palaces. A certain vitality in the shops and streets contrasts nicely with the antiques and preserved facades of the buildings. Local communities are filling the public parks and gardens, entrepreneurs are opening unique shops, urban crafts are crowding storefront windows and fans of terraces and restaurants offering the latest trends make for a cosmopolitan combination.
You can easily walk to Bairro Alto and all the major attractions of Lisbon (10-30 Min walk).

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, pending availability and confirmation.
