You won't get bored here with beach volleyball, jogging or walking. Lagos Zoo (Parque Zoológico de Lagos) is located about twelve kilometers north-east of the city near the town of Barão de São João. The best way to explore the city itself is on foot. Stroll through the shops along the cobbled streets and sample local specialties in the bars and restaurants. Our tip: visit the city's marina. With its modern flair, shops, cafes and restaurants, it's a great place to sit back with a drink and watch the world go by. There are also two golf courses nearby.
