Location
Ulgueira is a charming village in the parish of Colares, in the municipality of Sintra, situated in the area of the fantastic Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. It is a splendid area of enormous natural beauty, embraced by the lush Serra de Sintra and the vast Atlantic Ocean.
Ulgueira retains its rural aspect and its great beauty, possessing a luminosity characteristic of the region, reinforced by the white splendour of its houses.
Discover its white, quiet streets and visit the 16th century Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, which has a unique Mannerist portal dating from 1566, and the interesting Chafariz dos Festeiros, dating from 1766.

About the property
The house is part of Casal de São José, a property with several houses, located in the village of Ulgueira.
The entrance to the house is through the main gate of Casal de S. José, where there is a huge patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue for guests to use.
When we enter the house we find a traditional kitchen that is fully equipped with modern equipment and all the utensils you need to enjoy your home-cooked meals. It has a hob, fridge with freezer, microwave, espresso machine and American coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle and blender. The house also has a washing machine, clothesline, iron and ironing board.
On the floor above, there is a bright living room with an LCD TV, stereo and record player, where you can relax with a book, good music or a film.
On this floor there is also a bedroom with two single beds (90x200) and a full bathroom inside the bedroom with bath and shower.
On the upper floor there is a charming bedroom with a double bed (160x200). From this room you can catch a glimpse of the sea over the town's unique rooftops.
All the stairs have safety gates, so that the smallest guests or four-legged friends can enjoy the house without risk of accidents.
The whole house has Wi-Fi internet access.

Lisbon City Council charges a fee of €2 per night's stay per person aged 13 and over, with a maximum of €6 per person. This fee must be paid in cash at check-in.
