Positive: The Bordeaux Autrement people were great to deal with. Jacobo and Chloe were very friendly and helpful. It’s very quiet at night, especially seeing that it’s on a busy street. It’s in a great area. Close to all the Bordeaux attractions.

Negative: Lots of stairs in the apartment but we expected that because it’s a duplex but there are about 12 steep steps to the upper level and no hand rail. The apartment needs a lot of work, just about everything was shabby and it wasn’t particularly clean. Plates and cups were chipped. The fridge needed defrosting and the toilet seat kept moving about. Electric outlet falling out of wall. Pots of paint in the wardrobe made us feel uncomfortable hanging our clothes there. We found the television very difficult to use with no instructions in English. In fact there are no instructions for the dishwasher and the washing machine either. The WiFi was extremely slow (20mbps). No clues on how to dispose of the rubbish, never did find a bin to put glass into. The common areas were dingy and not cleaned in the time we were there.

Summary: Wouldn’t stay here again
