Positive: We had a wonderful time at The Rock Samui! All of the staff were very kind and helpful, gave us tips for trips around and helped us whenever possible. Communication was flawless via WhatsApp and we even had our light breakfast delivered to our villa. The Rock Villa itself is a dream: Vast and architectural inspiring, private pool and rooftop…everything, you could wish for. And the location is also top: You have access to a private beach with coral reefs in close swimming distance. Grandfather’s and Grandmother’s Rock are just around the corner, as well as other sightseeing spots. It was on the south end of Lamai Beach, so it was a little more quiet, but perfect for us as a family. Definite recommendation!

Negative: The only thing, I could think of is, that depending on the tide, the water on the beach is very shallow, which makes it impossible to swim and walking in the water is difficult due to the corals and rocks. So you have to plan your swimming and snorkeling a bit according to the tide (as always, I assume). On the other hand, you can see beautiful sealife in front of your door!
