Mules , 3 ostriches and 3 donkeys are permanent residents at the hotel. All guest rooms at Três Marias feature white linens and plenty of natural light. Positive: If you want to really disconnect in an oasis in a beautiful and tastefully designed rural setting then this is the place. Set in an isolated farm but with easy access to the lovely towns of Vila Nova de Milfontes and Porto Covo (about 10 minutes drive each). The staff were really helpful and welcoming. Ideal as a stop if you’re doing the Rota Vicentina. Good breakfast, dinner was limited to one vegetarian or normal option which you need to preorder but was tasteful and good value for money. Does not have TV or Aircon which is probably why its not 4 star rated, but this didnt put us off.

Negative: The property is situated along a couple of kilometres of rural unpaved track but this should not put you off. However, I strongly recommend you access it from the CM1072 road as the other access from the east is far longer and bumpier.

Summary: Lovely Oasis great to disconnect
