Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Nice and simple yet spacious clean new huts. Very good shower with properly hot water. Comfy beds. Complementary coffee and Ovomaltine in the room (water cooker and free water provided). Charming view onto the fields and hills from the terrace. Great breakfast (one time we received Thai breakfast and once European - both times was really good and well-sized portions). It is evident how the lovely hosts really give their best for you to feel welcomed and comfortable despite their limited English :) The resort is located about 5 min drive away from the main village and close to the nearby waterfalls - absolutely no issue if you have your own transport. Had a great stay and can absolutely recommend for your trip to Doi Inthanon!

Negative: It gets very cold at night so make sure you have an extra blanket and enough warm clothes. We slept under 2 blankets with clothes on not to freeze at night :D but this is what you have to deal with everywhere in Doi Inthanon if you stay here overnight. Just be mindful of the low temperatures. There was no WiFi - might be something in progress since the resort looks very new. The huts are close to the highway - at around 5am there is an increase of the traffic. It was, however, not very disturbing for us, we could still sleep fine.
