Positive: Beautiful location just by the river, loved listening to the beautiful hum of the river. Our first stay in an A-frame, always thought it would be tiny, but this one was spacious, it exceeded our expectations. Very spacious bathroom downstairs and roomy enough bedrooms. Loved that the downstairs bedroom also had a TV. My elderly mother has mobility issues, but the cabin has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom which was perfect. The fireplace was wonderful, a blissful experience! We did a little hike up through Valea Daica all the way to the fish farm. Dealt with the owner through messages and she is amazingly friendly, responded promptly to all messages and was so helpful!

Negative: Still a bit of work in progress, but the owner was very receptive to all the feedback. The cleaner overlooked a few small details, but they will either improve, or the owner will find a better one, I’m certain. The road getting down to the cabin is very tight and you have to cross a very small, old, bridge, but most countryside locations in Romania have the same difficulties. I would have liked a small dishwasher, that was most likely just me being lazy! 😆
